A 24-hour Lawson is right across the street, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The area itself is quiet and clean, and getting to the apartment from Odawara Station is easy. Inside, it’s spacious, clean, and fully equipped, with working air conditioning. The campervan-style bathroom was bigger than it looked in the photos, and comfortable enough. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. I’d happily recommend it as a base for exploring Hakone.

Those original city-guide brochures were a fun touch, and we had a warm, comfortable stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. They provide plenty of coffee, which made this tea lover feel a little FOMO. I regretted not carrying tea bags around with me. The showerhead could use a quick descaling. I’d definitely recommend the place.

It felt so much like home that I didn’t want to leave. There’s lots of food nearby, and Odawara station is close too. A wonderful place to stay. I’ll definitely come back.

The room gets lovely natural light, and it’s conveniently close to the train station and places to eat. It was clean, had the basics I needed, and the service was amazing. Cute style too. I’d stay again.
