The grounds were a real treat for the kids. They loved the garden, running around, playing ball, and lounging in the hammocks. There was a spacious property and even a little hidden hideaway that felt like a secret base. While the children searched for bugs, the adults could relax and chat on the veranda. Nearby, there’s also a park with large playground equipment and a swimming pool. We stayed with a friend’s family in this traditional Japanese house inn, surrounded by Okayama Prefecture’s beautiful natural scenery. In the evening, we had a barbecue with the complete set provided, and a camping set made it easy to eat outside. We brought our own food, and there was a refrigerator for storing it or ingredients we bought. We stayed outside enjoying ourselves until late. There’s a cafe bar where we had a leisurely breakfast, and a shaved ice machine for making delicious, fluffy ice. Inside, everything was very clean, and you could tell the owner had put a lot of thought and care into the place. We found board games, books, and even a table tennis racket. The owner was very kind, providing more bath towels than we needed, and the bedding was spotless too. We had a unique, memorable time in this old house. Thank you!
