Okayama View Hotel

The room was clean, well equipped, and had a comfortable mattress. The staff were really kind and cheerful, too. The location worked perfectly, between the train and bus station and the Castle and Park. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Okayama 🍑✨️

The breakfast could use more choices. My toddler hardly ate anything besides rice, though the freshly made fish was delicious. The staff were friendly, and there’s a convenience store just around the corner. It’s a little far from the station, but the neighborhood is quiet and there’s a park beside the hotel if you’re traveling with kids.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and Okayama station is within a reasonable walk. The rooms have what you need for an easy, unplanned stay. It’s a pretty typical budget hotel, a decent place to sleep if that’s all you’re after. I think they had a breakfast buffet, though I didn’t try it.

Okayama castle and Korakuen are easy to reach, about a five-minute walk from Okayama View hotel. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, so you might work up an appetite sightseeing. The staff were friendly, and members can get breakfast at a lower price.
