Hotel Waltz Okazaki - Adults Only

I was satisfied with my stay, and the breakfast was decent. I hadn’t realized when booking that this is usually a place for couples. The front desk was empty when I arrived, which threw me off at first, but there was a call button and a staff member came quickly to help me leave my luggage. Since luggage storage may not always be available, that could depend on the visit. It also seemed the staff didn’t know Korean, so being able to speak a little Japanese would help.

I’ve been there several times, but I won’t go back. The rooms are in terrible condition. There’s hair on the shelves, and so much on the bed sheets that they don’t look cleaned. I even found hair under the pillow. The front desk staff treat customers like they couldn’t care less. It’s rare these days to find a hotel where you can’t go out at all.

Visited in December 2016. As a simple place to stay when coming to Okazaki from farther away, it could be a good choice. Okazaki Castle is very close, and the rooms were clean, perhaps because the hotel was still fairly new. The price was reasonable, too.

The food was tasty, and the place is clean with plenty of room. The model may be old, but you can still sing karaoke. Paying for a private flight, a tradition people only enjoyed in the past, was fun.
