Okazaki Ohwa Hotel

Breakfast on the 15th floor comes with an amazing view, even from the room. I loved the scrambled eggs, and there was toast, croissants, and a good variety of Japanese breakfast dishes too. The room was larger than a standard single, and the amenities were already there. You can pick up tea or coffee sachets at reception. The antique decor is lovely, with a bit of a knight-era feel.

Really good room.

The breakfast buffet on the 15th floor was very satisfying, and the view from up there was great. There’s a large udon restaurant and a Lawson nearby, plus a supermarket in the complex just a short walk away, which was convenient. During dinner I had to move to the room next door. The TV in my room had no digital terrestrial signal, and BS and CS reception weren’t set up.

Breakfast was good, but the room key was really hard to open. I stayed here because I had business in the area, and the check-in experience left me concerned about how they handle personal information. While I was entering my details on the tablet, the receptionist showed me someone else’s record because they had the same name as me and asked if it was mine. It was a completely different person. When I said so, she told me to erase the differences and fill in the rest. That person’s address and phone number were fully visible, so I deleted them and entered my own information. I wonder how the hotel manages personal data. At the very least, they shouldn’t show another guest’s details.
