We came with our baby and our two-and-a-half-year-old, and the baby bed, stroller, and toys made things really convenient. There were plenty of towels too, so all we needed to pack was clothing. We didn’t meet the owner in person, but he was kind and helpful. There’s a BBQ set and lots of pool and beach toys, so we’d like to return in the hotter months. The second-floor air conditioning was a little weak, so I rated it four stars. Great for families with kids!
The kids had a great time, and we’d definitely use this place again. We had a BBQ with a well-equipped set, including outdoor chairs, a table, gas burner, cooler, and more, so there wasn’t much to prepare. They also had amenities, baby supplies, kitchen tools, and toys. We only needed to bring a change of clothes. It was a fun, relaxing place for an overnight stay and would work well for a longer visit too. ^ ^
A car is necessary here, but the neighborhood has ocean views, and it’s worth bringing a fishing rod. Lots of locals fish on the breakwater in front of the house. While exploring, I came across a slightly shabby lunchbox place that looked like a home-style restaurant. It had a white cloth sign with “lunchbox” written vertically in black letters. The food was the best Japanese meal I had in five days. I only bought from there on my last day, after getting convenience-store lunchboxes before, and regretted not going back sooner.
We had a really fun time and would definitely come back! We were meeting up for the first time after the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, and since there wasn’t much time to prepare, we were worried. It was great that the BBQ set, charcoal, grill, and other amenities were ready, and that we could stay overnight without meals included. The toys kept the kids busy, and the place felt like a lovely house where we could relax. The manager was very polite and reassuring. We came from different parts of the prefecture and didn’t know the area, so we got lost, which is why I rated the location four stars. There are houses on both sides, so please be mindful of noise at night. (๑⃙⃘˙꒳˙๑⃙⃘)
There are two showers and two toilets, which helps avoid a rush before heading out, and the spot is convenient for well-known beaches. Several supermarkets nearby make it easy to buy local food and souvenirs at low prices. I was glad to find snacks and drinks waiting when we arrived. The room is clean, with thoughtful details throughout, and you can BBQ on the rooftop. There’s plenty for kids to do even if the weather’s poor, so this is a great choice when traveling with children and a place I’d stay at on an Okinawa trip.
