Hotel Xenia Amagasaki - Adult Only

I used the place for about two hours and expected to pay around 2,000 yen, but the charge came to about 5,600 yen. No one explained the pricing in detail, and I wasn't given a receipt or invoice, so I still don't understand a lot of it. I didn't want to argue there, which is why I'm writing this now. I can't feel confident using the service when the way fees are handled is unclear. Please explain how the charges were calculated and what the fee basis is. I strongly hope fees will be made clear to customers and receipts issued in the future.

We'd booked and paid for the room in advance, but ants were crawling all over the floor, tables and bed. It was so unpleasant that we had to switch rooms. The TV remote in the new room then stopped working, and nobody fixed it. The place looked old, so maybe that couldn't be helped, but it was still disappointing. I thought there were pests in the first room and reported it, but they ignored me. Later they said they'd taken measures and asked if we wanted to come back. After all the trouble, I didn't want to, though it still left me feeling uneasy. The parking is free but very small. My husband scraped the bottom of our car going in and out of the basement, and it brought him down. The staff were friendly, the hot and cold water dispenser was a plus, and the location is great. Still, the overall quality felt low for what we paid.

When I stayed there around April, it was perfectly clean and the staff were very friendly. This recent visit was the opposite. The mirror was dirty, the bathtub felt rough, the drain smelled, and there was hair all over the room. The pillows and sheets were wrinkled and looked unchanged, which was unpleasant. The staff's behavior was terrible, both day and night. I never want to stay there again. It was really unpleasant, and honestly, I didn't want to pay the fee.

I went in hoping to take a break, but the place felt damp and not very clean, so I couldn't bring myself to use the bed. There was dust on the shelves, and the futon was dirty, just like other people have mentioned. I get that the building and facilities are old, but that doesn't explain the lack of cleanliness. I won't go back, and I can't imagine many people returning.
