The rooms were clean and set up in a traditional style, with futons in the closet. From there, you can see mountains in the distance, and I really wish I could've stayed longer than one day. 🌸🙂↕️🥰 The onsen ♨️ is free to use and has several amenities. Onsen products are sold in the gift shop right across from the entrances! 🛍 Yukatas are provided after check-in. As far as I understand, the men's and women's sides switch every so often, so if you stay long enough you can try both settings. There was a big buffet with lots of choices for breakfast and dinner, and the food labels clearly showed allergy information. It was absolutely wonderful here!

The breakfast and dinner buffets were good, and I'd recommend trying the onsen baths too. It's a good hotel to stay at. Ask for the Annex Wing if you'd like a newer room.

We were so grateful for how much effort the staff put into making sure we had enough to eat. My partner and I are vegetarians, and the buffet spread at breakfast and dinner was generous, but choosing suitable food was a little tricky. Once we explained our needs, the staff did everything they could to help, even reserving a table for us at both meals. Breakfast was manageable without special arrangements, but each evening the chefs made us something special. We stayed for three nights, and nothing seemed like a problem for them. I'd suggest that vegetarian and vegan guests tell the staff well in advance what they can and can't eat. I have no complaints, really appreciate their service, and would recommend staying here.

The onsen was very good, and the stay felt comfortable for the money. The main letdown was the buffet. We had the same breakfast and dinner choices for four days, even though we were told there'd be something special for Christmas. It was still the same variety. The hotel seemed to cater mostly to group tourists, and at dinner the free-flow snow crab, prawns, and alcohol seemed to be the main attractions.

A great place for families or anyone heading to the Alpine Route. This Omachi onsen hotel has huge baths, friendly service, and a buffet with more than 70 dishes.
