The staff were approachable, kind, and pleasant to deal with, without being stiff or intimidating. The lobby decorations are gorgeous and give the place a distinctive look, and the souvenir shop has a wide range of items. The overall feel is warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet had that “nostalgic and heartwarming” feel, and the food was nice, though serving myself was awkward because there was nowhere to set my tray. The large public bath was spacious and nice, but it would’ve been handy to have shelves for towels or personal belongings.

The dinner and buffet breakfast were especially good, and the stay was very enjoyable. My only complaint is that you have to ask for toiletries in the room. They seem to assume everyone will use the public hot spring bath.

What an amazing place. Thank you very much to the Prince Hotel owner, president, responsible people, staff, and members, and please keep up the good work. My only hesitation is about dinner service. The main dish arrived in a different order than I expected, and I felt the rice might have been better served all at once in the middle of the meal, with the soup and soft meal brought first. Please excuse my perspective and experience.

The newer room was clean and roomy, with most basic things provided. The food was decent, and I especially liked the grilled pork. There are indoor and outdoor onsens, though the WiFi was pretty weak and only worked in the lobby.
