Ken Hostel

I was supposed to stay three days, but left as soon as the police had gone. I got no refund. The owner did offer one day's money back if I collected it in person, and called that a “favor.” Payment has to be made in cash in advance. At around 1 or 2 AM, a guest from another room tried to get into mine. He was pulling and pushing at the door so angrily that I think he would have got in if I hadn't locked it. I called the police right away and told him to back off. I explained what happened to the owner the next day, but felt neither the owner nor the police did anything about the stalking. The building itself made me uneasy too. There are cameras for monitoring, though they don't save footage, showers where a silhouette can be seen from outside, and a hallway connecting every room. The rooms are somewhat private, if you can call it that, and have space for two tatami mats, an AC, and a TV. It's not worth the price. There's no washing machine, and the owner didn't give a proper introduction. Girls, please stay safe and choose any other hostel or hotel. Don't make my mistake.
