The reception was nice, but the room felt dark and scary, and I had a horrible stay. One of us heard a woman's voice, so I think the hotel might be haunted. There was also a dripping noise from the toilet all night. I wouldn't want to go through that again.

The breakfast was especially tasty, and the little balcony looked out over the harbour. It's a small, basic room, but had enough for a short stay. The receptionist and other staff were really friendly. There's a fridge and a tiny kitchenette, though we didn't use them. A bedroom mirror would be nice.

The room was spacious and had free Wi-Fi, so we were comfortable enough, especially since we were mostly just there to sleep. The ocean view is really a view of the harbor, but that was fine. There's an izakaya nearby, and the location suited us. We were on the top floor and found a line of ants in the toilet. It was cheap, so we could put up with that, lol. Parking is free at the park next door, though you have to walk over. For anyone trying to keep travel costs down, the price makes it worth considering.

I stayed several nights. The building is old, but there was plenty of room to open a suitcase. A free washing machine is available, and there's a clothesline in the closet for hanging underwear. My low rating is mainly because of how the water heater problem was handled. On the second day, the shower went cold less than a minute after I turned it on. Afterward, my friend called the front desk to report it. From that first call through the checks of the bathroom and the heater outside our room, nobody apologized, not even with a quick “sorry.” The first staff member said the heater was broken and told us to use the empty room next door. Another staff member arrived shortly after and was the first to apologize. I've worked in front desk roles, including at hotels, and an apology is given right away when guests are inconvenienced, so this level of service shocked me. The plumbing really isn't good, and it can leave you feeling uncomfortable.
