Okinawa Kariyushi Resort Exes Onna

We had five relaxing days on this beautiful island, and the service was very good, especially at reception. I left my small travel backpack in the taxi on the night we arrived. The staff tracked down the taxi, called the company, and arranged to have it returned. The hotel was spotless and in excellent condition, with high-quality furniture and design. Our two large rooms had sea views, luxurious bathrooms, and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is Japanese-style, but also has sausages, ham, several kinds of eggs, cheese, jam, pancakes, and more. During our September-October stay, the pool and beach area were quiet, and there was no need to reserve a sun lounger or parasol. There was no charge for either. Within walking distance are a 7/11, Shogun Burger, and a Japanese restaurant with local bands playing live. We also liked the Okinawan/Hawaiian restaurant, with burgers, fish, and meat. One night we ate at the dinner buffet in the partner hotel across the street, which is connected by a bridge. The selection was broad, the food was very good, and it was good value at about 5,000 yen per person. A taxi from the airport takes 1-1.5 hours and costs 15,000 yen; the shuttle bus takes 2 hours and costs 2,000 yen per person. It's a true 5-star hotel with excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended.

The service really stood out. Staff greeted us whenever we arrived or left, and we could use the sister hotel too. I’d recommend getting breakfast. The rooms were spacious, and it was easy to walk to the beach, although the beach was closed along with its loungers and bar. It was disappointing to find the main pools under maintenance despite the warm weather.

The rooms were big and comfortable, with a beautiful view, and it was only a short walk to a lovely beach. I had a very good stay, though two things stood out given the 5-star rating. Some staff didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult at times. Also, breakfast is listed as running from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., but staff started asking guests to leave the restaurant right at 10. I expected the buffet to close then, while guests could finish their coffee and food in peace. I never really understood why that wasn't the case.

The breakfast was outstanding, and the indoor pool and fitness center were so enjoyable that I didn't want to leave. Staff were exceptionally friendly, and English-speaking help was always available. It's a top-tier luxury hotel that truly feels five-star. If you arrive by car, valet parking and vehicle preparation are complimentary. Highly recommended!
