The building was well cared for, and I had a really pleasant stay. The ocean was beautiful, and this beach let you feel close to nature. Most of the scenic beaches in Onna Village are managed by hotels, so there are hardly any white-sand spots like this where nature feels so present. I'd definitely like to stay here again.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this trip made such a lovely memory that I wanted to write something. The sunset over the sea from the second-floor living room was amazing, and all the rooms felt clean and comfortable. With a glass of champagne in the jacuzzi, you could almost feel like a celebrity. The beach was a minute away and so empty it felt private. There were loads of beautiful shells, which got me excited, and what I think was coral in the water, so water shoes are a good idea. Having a washing machine was handy too, since we didn't need to pack as much. A short walk along the coast takes you to Onna no Eki, where you can get food and souvenirs. We never had trouble finding something to eat, and the soki soba and sata andagi were so good. I'd happily stay again.

Onna Beach Square has a private, home-like feel that stood out to me among the hotels in Onna Village. It's a quiet hideaway for adults, rather than a first-class hotel, so it won't suit people who want that kind of hotel experience. I liked being able to relax without worrying about hotel staff or other people. Nearby, sea turtles come to lay eggs, and there's a fireworks display. You can make your own meals or have delicious food arranged through catering. For me, it's a special place to enjoy a relaxed, luxurious stay in Onna Village.

We paid 40,000 yen for one night without meals, so it was upsetting to be charged a 3000 yen handling fee on top of shipping when our child left a toy behind. I was shocked by that treatment. We stayed with a small child, and the bed was too narrow for us to sleep together. It couldn't be moved either. The place looked stylish at first, but the air conditioning didn't work well, and the room wasn't comfortable. I found the stay disappointing and can't recommend it. I won't stay here or at any of its affiliated hotels again.

Getting to each room is an odd hassle in this three-story building. You have to put on your shoes, go outside, climb the stairs, and enter a passcode. The hotel is also far too expensive for what it is, and there are better places around here that I'd suggest instead. The service was terrible and I had a really unpleasant stay. Like other people have said, the five-star reviewers seem to have reviewed only this hotel, which makes the praise look like self-promotion. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
