Bijou Suites Pieces

Bijou Suites Pieces was a lovely place to stay, and we’d happily return. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were kind and quick to help, and the location made it easy to explore the area. We really enjoyed our visit. Thanks so much for making us feel welcome!

The place was depressing and in poor condition. Our apartment wasn't clean, the bathroom was moldy, and its light didn't work. The internet was so slow it sometimes wouldn't load a page. When we raised that, the landlord said they'd checked it and it was fine, while ignoring our other requests. Avoid this place.

I'm here with a remote work group, and I’m so disappointed by the state of Bijou Suites Pieces. The shower backs up until the water reaches your ankles, the toilet lid is broken, and the bathroom smells musty. There are dead mosquitoes and buildup on the walls. The whole place feels old and neglected, and the area around it isn't appealing either. If I could, I’d move to another hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I’m not sure I can manage the full two weeks.

Once we finally found the place, the room itself was nice and the location was handy, with a station and supermarket close by. There were three separate rooms, and having a stove was useful. The walls are thin, though it wasn't too noisy. The pillows were awful, and there were no kitchen towels or dish cloths, so we had to buy one. Finding it was a real struggle. Google Maps sent us to the wrong spot, and we spent 20 minutes in heavy rain wandering around while I talked to a man on the phone. Luckily I speak Japanese, and some people nearby heard me and pointed us the right way. I was told our room was in the middle, but after hauling heavy bags up four flights of stairs with no elevator, we found it at the back stairway. The sign was hard to see, and the man had given us the wrong building details. It was a nice stay overall, but a troublesome start. They should put the sign somewhere visible and correct the Google Maps location.
