Check-in was easy, and you can rent bikes right at the front. I enjoyed my stay in the tatame room, though unfortunately it had some earwigs. Maybe the straw makes it cozy for them. The room was clean, and the shared bathrooms and showers stayed clean during our two days there. There's also a ground-floor water fountain for filling bottles, which is hard to find in many hotels in Japan. Just keep in mind that they don't provide towels. The elevator is a plus, too. Overall, a good place to stay.

I was comfortable during my two nights here. It's a small, clean hostel with sturdy wooden bunks and a little common room. There weren't many guests, but I still got to socialize with some. The only downside was the lockers: too small for my valuables, including my laptop.

The staff are really nice, the beds are wide, and the guest house is very clean. I stayed five days and found it very affordable. Strongly recommend it if you're visiting Osaka. You won't regret it.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and Dotonbori was about a 15-20 minute walk away. We stayed two nights in a tatami room listed for three, which felt like a good size for two. The location itself is peaceful, though getting to the main roads and metro takes a bit of extra walking. There’s a grocery store around the corner and a convenience store, but not much else nearby. Facilities are shared: two showers and one men’s and one women’s toilet for the whole floor. There’s a washing machine, plus a refrigerator on the first and fourth floors (maybe other floors too), a microwave, and a water station. The front desk didn’t mention it, but the front door locks late at night, so check the side door code if you’ll be out late.

You can rent one of the two bikes for 500¥ a day, which was a fun way to feel a bit like a local in Osaka. There aren’t many bikes, and the place is a little far from everything, but it’s cheap.
