Five Hotel Osaka

We spent five nights here, and the experience didn’t meet what I expect from a hotel claiming to be 4 stars. The Wi-Fi was poor, the room wasn’t cleaned properly, and the air conditioning didn’t cool it down. Each day we had to wait outside for the room to become bearable because it was too hot to stay in. I’m not sure about the ventilation, but it seemed bad. I got bug bites on my body, and there were stains on the blanket that looked like bed bug stains. We told the staff, but they only changed the blanket. They did check the room after we asked, yet I woke up with more bites the next morning. I had several photos but posted only some of them. The location was good, but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The hotel looked even better in person than it did in the online pictures, with a real luxury feel. I loved the big, clean room, the location, and the staff. The cleaning staff were so quiet that I never heard them working, and I didn’t hear noise anywhere in the hotel. It’s in Korea town, which is really charming. I’m very glad I chose this place.

The nearest subway station is about a nine-minute walk away, and the rooms were big enough. Still, this was easily the worst hotel of our Japan trip. There was a lot of dirt under the beds, the mattress protectors weren’t very clean, and the daily cleaning wasn’t adequate. The staff weren’t especially friendly either.

The location wasn’t ideal for what I needed, so I had to travel a bit out of the way. Still, the room was clean and pleasant for the price, with enough space and no noise or mess. I’m usually disappointed by Osaka hotels, but I was happy with this one.
