The hostel is very close to a JR station, with the subway about a six-minute walk away. It felt quiet while we were there, with only a couple of other guests in the large mixed dorm. The place seems newly built, and everything, including the bedding, was clean and new. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the man who checked us in spoke English well. There are little lockers for valuables, two if you book a double bed, plus a shelf for luggage, though there's only room for a few bags. I can see the mixed dorm feeling cramped if it's full. The women's dorm is separated from the mixed one only by a curtain with a sign.

It's a good, low-priced hostel, and the metro is barely a minute away. The city centre is a bit far because of the location. The common area is nice, the kitchen has everything you need, and the rooms were always neat. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

The futon is on the thin side, so after several nights the floor might start to feel hard. We still slept well and would recommend the place. I spent two weeks in a double bed in the mixed dorm, and the price through Booking was really affordable. The location is very good. With a JR pass, Osaka center is about 20 minutes away, and convenience stores are within walking distance. Everything was clean and worked well. Each locker fit one backpack, and a double bed came with two lockers.

For me, the space was perfect. People complain about it, but you have to remember this is Asia. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a cozy shared area and a kitchen with everything I needed. It was super clean, close to a train station and convenience stores, and the staff were really friendly. Easy to make friends here.

The hostel is cheap and good value if you're planning to be out all day, or just need an inexpensive place to spend a few days in Osaka. It was clean, and the internet worked well the whole time. There are maps and leaflets with food suggestions and things to do, plus a kitchen with utensils and a fridge. Thanks for those! The common area music was the worst playlist ever, playing over and over. Our double bed in the mixed dorm was hard, and the mattresses didn't quite fit. The dorm is narrow, with little room for luggage. People were respectful, but it's a big shared room, so light sleepers may want earplugs. There's a rooftop, though no tables or chairs to hang out on. The hostel is right by the JR station and a five-minute walk from the subway, but you'll need public transport to get anywhere. There are some restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
