Getting into the room turned into a long hassle. I got the building entry code by email, but not the code for the room's lockbox, and no one picked up when I called the number in that email. Email was the only other way to reach anyone. I contacted Priceline.com, and about an hour later their representative called the owner in China. The owner needed a translator so they could work out the lockbox code. After trying several codes, we finally found the right one and I got into the room. There was no onsite manager or staff, no early luggage drop-off, and no housekeeping for the whole stay, no matter how long you were there. Check-in and checkout were fully automated.

I walked in and was shocked by how poorly it had been cleaned. There was urine residue in the toilet, hair on the bed, and dirt on the floor. It was cheap, but I really can't recommend it. I couldn't believe a place in Japan could be like that.

I've stayed here more than once, and it's seriously great. Lawson and Shin-Fukae Station are close, and the place has what you need to feel like you're living on your own in Osaka. One thing I really like is that taking out a key card doesn't shut off the lights and everything else, like at most hotels. You can leave the washing machine running or let clothes dry in the bathroom dryer while you're out.
