The kitchen is well equipped, with a gas cooker, plates, bowls, and utensils for cooking and eating. The place was clean, but checking in and out was frustrating because nobody was around either time, and you have to call the number from the reservation. That can cost a lot if you’re roaming, and it isn't a What'sApp number. In winter the toilets and bathroom get really cold because the air conditioner doesn’t heat the whole floor well. The mattress is so thin that it feels like sleeping on the hard plastic bed base. An electric blanket is provided, which is unusual for guesthouses, but I found it too warm.

You can check yourself in without calling the staff, even when they aren’t around. Just follow the instructions on the door and check your reservation for the room number.

Small and cozy, with the essentials covered for the price.

There’s a convenience store and a public bath about a five-minute walk away, and the station is also easy to reach on foot. For the price, the location works well. It has the feel of an ordinary house turned into a guesthouse, though the room is well supplied with a kettle, microwave, and fridge. A hairdryer is there, but no toothbrushes; face towels are kept in the living room. Check-in and checkout times are listed, but with the self-service setup you can probably come and go when you like. The staff live next door and answer if you call. They’re Korean and spoke a fair amount of Japanese.
