We came for two nights to celebrate my birthday and get away from the city, and the quiet, natural setting was just what we wanted. The ryokan has an older feel, but the renovated interior gives it a modern Japanese style. Our room was really spacious, with an open-air hot spring bath we loved. On arrival, the staff gave us masks and hand sanitizer, which felt especially important at the time. The food was the highlight. We tried authentic robatayaki BBQ for the first time, with lots of seafood and meat. The lobster and scallops were especially good, and they surprised me with a birthday cake. The second night's menu changed to a big wagyu steak with abalone, which my husband was very happy with. Breakfast was good too, with both Western and Japanese options, pork shabu-shabu, and a buffet. I especially liked the fresh grapefruit juice in the morning. The staff were friendly, and it's easy to drive to a nearby farm and other well-known spots. We'd definitely come back and try glamping next time.

Six of us each paid ¥17,700, but we were packed into a single tent, and the included dinner and breakfast BBQ food seemed closer to enough for three people than six. Since the place is in the middle of nowhere, finding extra food was really difficult. There are five or six tents and no toilets or showers there, so we had to use the public facilities. More than 20 people were sharing just two toilet stalls and two shower stalls because the main public bath, the onsen, was closed due to COVID.

The room was really tidy, and the hotel is surrounded by nature. The meals were delicious, and the staff were very nice and helpful. Thanks for upgrading my room to one with both an indoor and an outdoor private bath.

We were able to see the cat cafe from our window, though apparently it isn't open anymore. Our dome-shaped room was clean and had plenty of amenities; the only thing we needed to bring was pajamas. It also had heating and air conditioning, so even on a rainy day it stayed comfortable, and the cute chandelier added to the cozy feel. Dinner was hearty and tasty. We cooked the provided ingredients, including risotto, steak, and seafood skewers, and ended up full and happy. The annex's private open-air bath was spacious and especially nice for couples. Staff were kind and dependable, and came to help right away when we called. We had a very pleasant day.

The BBQ was generous and delicious. They did more than just put food on the grill, they cooked it properly, which made for a great glamping experience. Drinks were available to order at the bar counter near reception, and the people at the facility patiently answered all my questions and told me to ask if anything came up. I was impressed by the service from the start. I accidentally booked for the same day, but when I called right away, they responded reassuringly and even changed the date for me. The location was lovely too. It was raining, but the sound was soothing and the air felt crisp. The private bath costs around 3,000 yen and has an open-air tub with a good view of the sky. Being outside was really relaxing. There are several places to stay, including dome tents, regular tents, and Japanese-style rooms. I'd recommend the glamping dome tents. Thanks so much.
