The sea is right next to the hotel, and both the rooms and the nighttime city view are beautiful. We also had far more than we expected, including a sauna in the bathroom. The seaside looked lovely in the morning too. Winter is really cold, but I imagine the beach would be lots of fun in the warmer months. We’d definitely recommend it.

We visited in February 2024. The rooms are large, and the toilet area is very spacious. It even had a massager for my sore legs after skiing, as shown in the photo. You can check in at a kiosk, though it seemed to be Japanese only. Getting there is difficult without your own vehicle. I couldn’t find any accessible outlets for my travel adapter. Instead, you have to use one of their cables, Lightning, USB-C, or microUSB, to charge your phone slowly. Breakfast didn’t seem worth it to me. There are four options to choose from, shown in the attached photo.

The hotel is right by the ocean, and the room was always super clean. We liked the tub with its lights, jets, and little TV, and karaoke was a nice extra. The staff were great, and room service was tasty and well priced. There are adult toys for sale, and you can borrow a free massager for the room. We stayed several days while visiting Sapporo and otaru. The location was our one complaint: there weren’t many restaurants nearby, and the station was about a 20-minute walk away.
