The neighbors were loud, and with the thin walls I could hear people talking and sneezing. The room door was thin too, and the building entrance wasn't locked, which made me uneasy about security. For check-in, I had to call the center several times before anyone picked up, so the unmanned process was a hassle. Trucks and other large vehicles made the hotel sway a little; that surprised me at first, though I got used to it. The bed was fluffy, but with the noise next door I wished I'd stayed somewhere else.

The room itself was clean and spacious. The unmanned setup ended up being more trouble than convenient, though. I had to call the center to check in, perhaps because I arrived around 10-11 pm, and at checkout the code on the screen wouldn't open the return box. I had to call the center again.

Aside from the noise from the room above, I had no other problems. Cars on the road in front also make the building shake.

The room was clean and roomy, and the price was reasonable. There are plenty of shops within a five-minute walk, and the bus stop is close, so the location is convenient. The building gives a brief shake, about like a magnitude 1 earthquake, when trains pass (?) or large vehicles go by on the street. There’s no staff on site. I received the electronic key code by email and had to enter it twice before the door unlocked, as if it had a double lock. Inside, I used a machine to complete the check-in, then got the instructions remotely. The person handling it didn’t seem to be Japanese, and their broken Japanese was hard for me to understand.
