A good spot for business, though not as convenient for sightseeing. My room was spacious, quiet, and very clean, and the staff were pleasant. They have free drinks, an ice machine, and a vending machine. Breakfast was acceptable.

There are plenty of shops nearby, including restaurants, convenience stores, and drugstores, so it’s easy to get around on foot. The room was reasonably clean, and amenities were provided. Welcome drinks were available in the morning and evening. Noise may bother light sleepers. The walls didn’t block sound especially well, and at night I sometimes heard doors closing and mechanical noises from the floor below. Breakfast had rice, raw eggs, pickles, seaweed, ochazuke seasoning, instant miso soup, and warm instant corn soup. I missed having green onions or other vegetables, but the eggs were as tasty as the reviews said and went perfectly with my raw egg rice. The front desk staff were courteous, and their manner and language were generally fine. But when I handed over my A-Card membership points card, they looked confused. I had to ask for a manager before they could process it. That surprised me, since there were so many A Card recruitment flyers and posters around.

Having a car makes the location especially handy. Lawson, McDonald's, and a large home improvement store are all within walking distance, along with cafes, a big shopping center, izakayas, and family restaurants. You can walk back even after having a few drinks. The hotel itself is an older business hotel near Ozu Interchange, but it’s kept clean. There’s only a unit bath, no large public bath, and the TV is small. For a one-night stay, though, that’s fine. Service was neither especially good nor bad.

The party with friends ran late and I didn’t get there until nearly midnight, even though I’d planned to check in at 11 PM. I’d contacted the hotel beforehand, and they were very accommodating. I’d stay here again if I have another drinking party in Ozu.
