The rooms are spacious and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. This is a huge historic Japanese house, which makes it special, and I liked being able to see the collection of glasses made in Sabae.

Staying in this beautiful old house was a lovely experience. The host was kind and helpful, and it feels like a lovely project bringing some life back to the village.

We were a group, and the renovated old house was very clean and spacious, with so many rooms we couldn't decide where to sleep. There were lots of thoughtful surprises that made the stay fun. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Thanks, I highly recommend it.

We came with small children, and they took that into account and prepared a suitable room, which was a relief. The place was so lovely that after initially planning one night, we spontaneously decided to stay for two. Everything was clean, and the manager kindly and sincerely handled our requests, which helped a lot. We stayed November 2-4, 2019. The manager and the other guests happened to be families too, so after breakfast the dads and kids ran around the spacious old house and seemed to have a great time. That only worked because everyone happened to be a family, haha. We made so many good memories and can't wait to go back 🤣. We'll definitely return once the pandemic is over! ⭐️
