The room I had came with its own toilet and bath, though apparently not every room does. There was a toothbrush, face towel, and bath towel, plus a hairdryer, kettle, and fridge. I don't think there was a hairbrush or razor. The building is a bit old, but it's very clean, the amenities are great, and you can tell the owner cares about service. Even the flowers at the entrance are looked after beautifully. Payment by card or PayPay is accepted. The older gentleman handled my card quickly with an iPad app. Is he 70? The update is impressive! The Kirigamine air conditioning kept the room comfortable. I thought it was a really nice inn.

It felt more like staying in a house than a hotel, but my renovated room was nicer than I expected and had a unit bath. There was a slight smell from the bathroom that could bother some people. I've stayed in business hotels and capsule hotels in Tokyo, though, and at this price it didn't trouble me at all. It was a comfortable room for traveling alone, and I'd stay again on my next trip to Sado. It also cost less than a business hotel.

Our family spent one night here in a small room with three beds. It was enough space to sleep, and the renovated room was clean. The unit bathroom was old and had a bit of a smell, which made me hesitate to use it. It'd be great if they cleaned the bathroom more thoroughly.

It's a clean, simple place where you can relax, though there's not much nearby. The location probably makes this hard to avoid, but a huge number of stink bugs showed up in the room in the middle of the night and caused a lot of trouble. A colleague in another room said they'd had to remove two as well. I'd suggest keeping the windows closed while cleaning.
