The rooms were nice, but there was no food available and it was a little hard to find nearby places to eat. The location works well for the Ropeway and hot springs, though overall you may be better off staying near the station. Check-in felt odd: we had to go through a long self check-in process while reception staff were there.

We had a really pleasant two-night stay. The room was clean and roomy, and the hotel was nicely decorated. Staff were friendly, and it was easy to walk to nearby attractions. They also had drinks during tea break and recommendations for places to eat and visit. I'd stay here again on my next trip to Hakodate.

The rooms were spotless, and I managed just fine speaking only English. The staff's English was limited, but enough to communicate. The location is handy for the ropeway, red brick warehouses, food, coffee, the tram, and plenty more.

The lobby was warmer than our room. Even with every electric heater turned on, we couldn't get the room warm. It felt like sleeping outside at night. Completely unacceptable.

Our family had a very good stay, with friendly staff and plenty of room. When the earthquake and tsunami warning came in July 2025, they let us wait comfortably on the 7th floor. While we sat out the warning, they even brought us hot food and drinks for free. They were more than willing to help.
