I chose this hotel for the view over the park lined with cherry blossoms, and it absolutely delivered. I was a little nervous about staying alone because the place is a bit away from the busy areas and the interiors feel slightly dated, but it turned out to be peaceful and relaxing. I was there solo for seven nights and was comfortable. The hotel was clean, had complete amenities, and the staff were kind and accommodating. I arrived early, left my luggage while I explored, and found it already in my room when I came back for check-in. The lobby on the 7th floor connects to the mall, and that short walkway leading to a bookstore was really cute. There's a mall, grocery store, and train station right underneath. Thank you, Osaka Castle Hotel.

We've visited almost 25 countries and had some great service elsewhere, but this was the worst hotel experience for us. The staff at Osaka Castle were unfriendly and rude. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I'll never stay at Osaka Castle, Japan again.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the view was amazing. I also liked that the decor has some soul, since so many hotels these days look alike. It's very well located.

The location is the best part, with Osaka Castle a short walk away and plenty of transport around that never takes long to show up. There are also various restaurants downstairs by the river. The views from our room were wonderful, though some rooms apparently face building walls. The hotel feels very outdated, and you can hear the train station above it, even from the 6th floor. The rooms and beds weren't very nice, so I'd stay somewhere else next time despite the great location.

We had a lovely river view from our room. The place was very well located, with a spacious room that was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and they handled both receiving and sending our luggage. The bathrooms are new, and the mattress, pillows, and towels were all spotless and very good quality. Definitely a good place to stay.
