Sado Green Hotel Kiraku

The inn looks beautiful from the outside, though the rooms show their age. It felt nice to think of that as character. We appreciated having a late-night meal served in the room and finding the futon already laid out. There are three private baths. From the panoramic bath, you get a great view of Lake Kamo right in front.

The staff made our stay really pleasant with their wonderful service. The meals were incredibly luxurious, served in our room, so we could relax and enjoy them. We also got to unwind in the open-air family bath, which was free to use. There was a place to rest on the second floor above it, and the complimentary cold tea in the ice-cold room was much appreciated. I was extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again. 🏨

The staff felt like family, and we really appreciated the fruit platter they gave us for our celebration. The view from the inn is lovely, and the hot spring is good too. The rooms are old but clean. A lot of the dishes seemed pre-made and weren’t very good, and the tempura was soggy. Thank you very much.

The lake scenery is especially lovely in the morning and evening, and you can enjoy it from the room or the bath. The inn looks out over O-Sado across the water, and the location is fantastic. There are also three private open-air baths that are free to use, which makes it a nice option for families. We had a very satisfying stay thanks to the location, the baths, and the food. Meals were mainly seafood like sashimi and crab, and were delicious. The building and facilities are clearly old, but nothing felt unsanitary.
