Hotel HORAIRE Saijo

I didn't expect much because the rating looked average, but I really love this little hotel. Being right across from Iyo-Saijo station made getting around so convenient, and limited express trains stop there too. The room was a good size for one person or a couple, with a working window overlooking the station and a mountain range. There were lots of charging points, and it had everything I needed as a traveler passing through. If you're exploring Shikoku, you could use it as a base for day trips to Matsuyama, Takamatsu, and even Kochi.

The noise from above the 5. floor was so loud, like someone was moving furniture and drilling. There were heaters and other things up there, and we couldn't get another room. Otherwise it was all right, but don't stay on the 5. floor. I wouldn't recommend it.

The place was clean and nicely presented, and the reception staff were good.

The room was clean, the TV was free, and there were unlimited drinks. Breakfast, which was bread, was included too, and for the price that was a big help. Two nights cost around 9,000 yen, so it was excellent value. I arrived on a motorcycle, and the staff kindly showed me a safe parking spot beside the police station, right next to the hotel. It's free parking, but there's no roof. The staff left a great impression, and I'll definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
