MeMe Inn - Vacation STAY 10900

The room was fresh and very clean, and check-in was easy. The location near the station is good. But the room is tiny, and the second 'bed' is really just a very narrow mattress on the floor, so it doesn't feel like a proper double. There isn't a single hook or towel rail for clothes or wet towels, which is pretty impractical.

The room was small but clean and well looked after, with one bed in the living area and another in the loft. The location is handy, very close to Yono-honmachi Station and a convenience store. However, I paid 29,900 yen and don't think it was worth that. I booked through Rakuten. The entrance uses the Qrio Lock smartphone app, but I hadn't received any instructions even on the day I was due to stay. I contacted them through Rakuten, and only then did they send a manual explaining how to use the lock. Around 5 a.m. I woke up wondering if I could hear someone talking. It was the station announcements. I think the walls are thin, because I could make out everything clearly. I had set an alarm for 8, but the announcements and trains kept me from falling back asleep. I'd recommend bringing earplugs.

The room was cute and girly, and the location is handy, right in front of Yono-honmachi Station. There's a supermarket, Daiso, a bakery, and more inside the station. I stayed several nights. After the first one, it looked like a staff member had entered my room while I was out, because the skylight I'd shut was open when I came back. I was surprised, since I hadn't expected anyone to come in. Maybe it was for cleaning, but I'd have liked the option to choose whether the room was cleaned, like at a hotel. The key works through a smartphone app. I expected it to be a hassle, but it was easy enough. Just make sure your phone doesn't run out of battery.

We had to use this apartment for a few days after our air conditioner broke during an unusually hot spell at the end of June. It's just a few minutes from the station, which is right in front, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and drugstores nearby, so it was easy to get what we needed without going far. The kitchen had pans and pots, which came in handy for making simple meals during a short stay. There's no washing machine, though. For a brief visit, that meant buying disposable detergent and washing clothes by hand. The station is so close that train noise is noticeable, but that's to be expected.
