Hotel AlphaOne Sakata

The room was good, but breakfast was poor.

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Free parking for motorcycles, too.

The room was clean, and it’s handy to have a convenience store nearby and the station close by. On check-in, I was glad to get a hand towel and a mini warmer, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The unit bath felt a little old, and the toilet smelled bad, probably because of urinary stones. As for food, restaurants where you can eat alone were often closed late at night.

I was here on a business trip. The old building didn’t cause me any trouble, and I appreciated having vending machines and ice makers on every floor. There’s a Uotami on the first floor, which is also used as the breakfast area in the morning. The hotel is right across from Sakata Station, and parking is free. Even with the station so close, there’s very little to do nearby and hardly any restaurants. 😅 Might suit someone who wants a quiet place with not many people around! (lol)
