Hotel Route-Inn Grand Tokyo Asakusabashi

The staff were helpful, and the facilities were adequate. My room felt like a typical Tokyo hotel room and wasn’t as spacious as some reviews made it seem. The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a station close by that has a direct train to Haneda Airport.

The room felt a bit tight for two people, but it was fine for a few nights given the price. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great selection of tasty food, and the Japanese bath was a highlight, modern and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and glad to help. The hotel is a short walk from subway and mail rail stations, with plenty of good food nearby. An evening stroll by the river is beautiful. I’d happily come back.

The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the station, and its 24-hour check-in is handy for late arrivals or flexible plans. There’s also paid parking behind the hotel, which is convenient and unusual in Tokyo. The room is compact by Tokyo standards, but felt cozy for a couple or two friends. Everything was clean, efficient, and well thought out. Hotel Route Inn Grand Asakusabashi isn’t flashy, but it’s a reliable, well-equipped base for exploring Tokyo, with what you need for an easy stay.
