This is my fourth or more stay at the hostel, and it’s still a reliable choice. On this visit I was in a four-bunk room, where I found the bed very comfortable. The room felt surprisingly private, and the other guests were respectful. The common area is a little small, though cozy rather than crowded. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrace. The Asakusa location is handy for public transport, and the stay was good value for money.

I spent just two nights in the women’s room, and it was quiet, clean, and really nice. It’s near the train station, and Senso-Ji Temple is within walking distance. I liked staying here and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

The staff were welcoming and helpful, but the place is small and a little run down. The shower pressure was good, though the shower felt grimy. You get what you pay for.

The lounge was a nice place to relax and meet people, and everything in the toilets and bathing rooms was clean. Staff were kind and spoke good English. The stations aren’t too far away, and they provide free earplugs, which helped a lot when a roommate snored. Great value overall. One nuisance: the sink sometimes gets clogged with leftover food. Maybe a sign or a net would help keep staff or other guests from having to clean it up.

The showers were really nice, with shampoo, conditioner, and soap included, and the toilets were clean. Free earplugs were a nice touch. The beds aren’t especially comfortable, but it’s a hostel, so what can you expect?
