We were concerned by an email asking us to confirm our arrival before midnight on check-in day, with a warning that the booking could be cancelled without acknowledgment. We had paid in advance, so the possibility of missing that message felt unsettling. Check-in itself was smooth, and the staff were helpful and efficient during the week we stayed. The location made getting around easy. Restaurants, shops, beauty spas, convenience stores, bus stops, and train stations were all just a few minutes away. There’s also a Lawson beside the lift, with another entrance from the main road. We could pick up snacks or drinks, heat them there, and take them to our room. The hotel also lends umbrellas when it rains. Our room was thoughtfully arranged and well maintained. The bathroom and toilet were compact, but there was enough room to move around, and a soak in the tub felt great after a long day. The bed was cozy, and the room had a mini fridge, water boiler, tea and coffee, yukata, and slippers. There are coin laundry machines, drink vending machines, ice machines, and trouser presses on each floor. Housekeeping replenishes essentials and cleans daily if you put the “Make My Room” sticker outside your door before 9:00 AM. If you miss that, routine cleaning is done on Mondays. Complimentary bottled water is only supplied on arrival day, though that wasn’t much of a problem since tap water in Japan is safe to drink. The express self check-out was especially useful for our early departure. There’s a kiosk by the lift where you drop off your key and leave, with no waiting or questions. We booked through Booking.com, and the process was straightforward. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay, and I’d consider staying again.
