It was cheap for a stay of several nights, but the quality wasn't good. I don't want to return.

The rooms are roomy, and there's parking nearby. The subway station is also close, so getting around is convenient.

I've been staying here for years. The best thing is how the staff treat guests: the people getting rooms ready greet you with a smile in the morning, and you see the room attendant before the front desk staff when checking out. They're pleasant, while the reception team are calm and quiet. Getting around is easy, with the city subway and bus terminal close by, plus plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants within a five-minute walk. I also like that the bathroom and toilet are separate. The washing area and tub are clean and roomy, the shampoo bottles are free of soap scum, and the bag-shaped duvet cover keeps the duvet from coming loose if you toss around in your sleep. I love the tub, and the bedding is spotless, not a hair on it. It has a lot of thoughtful things I don't find in big, new hotels.

I'd never stayed in a business hotel in Kotoni, so I tried Hotel Kotoni Sapporo this time. It was a decent local business hotel, with reasonable service and facilities, though some things felt a little rough around the edges. I ended up trying it because the cheap, shabby internet cafe in Kotoni that I'd used for years is gone. It had even stayed open through the COVID-19 pandemic, but has since disappeared. Despite its dingy feel, it suited me well: only two JR stops from Sapporo Station, easy to reach, and cheaper than the internet cafes around the station.
