The tea house was my favorite part. I could sit with coffee and music and look at the autumn leaves outside. So relaxing. The course meal blends Western and Japanese cooking in a way that reminded me of French cuisine, and the onsen is small but well arranged. It’s a small ryokan that seems family-run, and everything was lovely. One thing they could improve: getting my heavy bag from the parking lot down to reception was exhausting.

We chose this quiet inn over a big hotel and booked two rooms for my husband's parents. My parents are over 80 and were delighted with the place, especially the delicious, clean, and luxurious meals. The room was lovely and very clean, and the fixtures and amenities felt thoughtfully chosen. My son seemed to love the Yogibo. In the morning, he’d wake up and fall asleep on it instead of in his bed. The bath water also felt soft and refreshing. I’d definitely like to visit again next time I’m in the area.

The hot springs were warming, and the riverside terrace was a comfortable place to sit. It’s quiet here, with a calming atmosphere. The set course meals were tasty and filling. I’d like to stay again.
