Being right by the JR station and bus stop made getting to Teine ski resort really convenient. I planned three nights, enjoyed the stay enough to add another day, and found the room spacious and clean. It wasn’t a modern, fancy hotel, but the staff cleaned every day. They didn’t speak much English, yet they were kind and ready to help.
The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast felt like a home-cooked meal. The staff were fantastic. It’s the only option in Teine, though.
So far, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan.
