Spending the night in an Onsen was a unique experience. The place has been renovated well, the rooms are huge, and everything was clean. Check-in was easy, and restaurants and a local park are just a short walk away, a few blocks down. The large Onsen style bath, little kitchen, and washer made our time in Sapporo easy. I’d stay here again.

The natural spring water in the onsen made it feel really special, and the place is right in the heart of Sapporo. Check-in was simple, and the stay had what we needed to be comfortable. The decor is lovely in person, much better than photos can show. I’d happily recommend it if you’re visiting the city.

Getting checked in was awful. The form was very hard to complete, and after we submitted it, they required a video call. We were told to hold, then the call was cut off. We called back more than ten times over 15 minutes before anyone answered. When I asked why it had taken so long, he hung up on us again. Such a terrible experience. It’s a shame given Japan’s reputation for customer focused service.

There’s loads of space, and check-in was quick and easy. If you’re driving, pay close attention to the parking. Find the sticker on the cone, then use it to match your spot to room 1 or room 2. I’d stay again when I’m back in sapporo.

Having an onsen bath in the building really made the stay. Our room was clean, roomy, and had enough equipment for what we needed.
