Sapporo Glamping Villa Carta

Our host made us delicious food, and the lodgings were well worth it. Such an amazing experience, 10/10. I'd highly recommend going here!

The dome felt clean and modern, which I really liked, and the BBQ setup had tables and tableware ready to use. Since it was winter with heavy snow, we kept grilling outside and eating indoors. The place sits on high ground, so I imagine it's especially nice for people who enjoy night views. I went with a friend, and with the discount and transportation included, the price came to just under 20,000 yen per person. It seems perfect for a graduation trip or a small group overnight stay. There was a fee to rent the sauna, so I initially declined, but they kindly let me use it for just under an hour as a courtesy. The temperature felt just right, and it even had a mist function. The host seemed to really care about customer service. Sorry my photos aren't very artistic.

I stayed on the student plan and was struck by how lovely the dome tents were. The barrel sauna was the highlight for me: the temperature was just right and it left me feeling healthy. The view from the tent was beautiful as well. We had a tasty breakfast, and they even drove us to the nearest subway station. The manager was very nice. Glad I found such a good glamping spot in Sapporo, and I'd love to come back!

The people at the lodge were wonderful, and the facilities were great. We booked a bed-only plan, so we had to bring our own food and ingredients, but they made us coffee in the morning and we had a relaxed chat in the warm lodge. We told them it was for a birthday, and they decorated the lodge and prepared stylish drinks. Even in mid-winter, with rough roads, they drove us everywhere we needed to go. The barrel sauna was so comfortable we could have stayed in it forever. They also got the sauna and wood stove ready for us, making the service feel worth more than the price. The main house was nearby, which helped us feel safe. We worried the winter weather might make it hard to sleep, but the dome was warm and comfortable. We plan to stay again.
