My wife recently had to stay at the nearby hospital, and I ended up needing a room for an uncertain amount of time. Although I don’t speak Japanese and the staff don’t usually cater to non-Japanese speakers, they were very kind and helped me get settled. They let me pay day by day, helped with parking, and suggested restaurants. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it was comfortable enough for me. I’d recommend it if you need somewhere in this area.

I’d happily stay here again. The warm service, convenient location, and tasty pasta restaurant on-site were highlights. Breakfast felt carefully made and homemade, and the miso soup was delicious, not instant. The staff were all kind and friendly. My flight was delayed, so I arrived late at night, but they welcomed me warmly without showing any irritation. The building is an old Showa-era hotel, yet it’s very clean and well kept. The bathrooms and washlet toilets were clean too. The hot and cold water come from separate taps, so you have to adjust the temperature yourself. There’s a microwave in the elevator hall, and the room has a mini-kitchen. I noticed a slight moldy smell in the elevator and the 10th-floor elevator hall. The air conditioning and heating are centralized, so you can only control the fan strength. It wasn’t cold in winter, though, and I turned the heat off when it got too hot or dry. The air does get quite dry, so bring a portable humidifier if you have one.

The staff’s smiles and greetings at breakfast made it a pleasant stay. It was my first time here, and they were very accommodating when I checked in after 9pm. They also explained the parking lot and hotel in detail. My room was warm and had a heater, so I slept comfortably. Thank you very much.

This Showa-era business hotel is relatively close to Sapporo, and it’s in a straight line from the station, so I have no complaints on that front. There aren’t many restaurants around, and the nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk. My rating takes the value for money into account.
