Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sapporo-Susukino

The subway stop is right outside, which was ideal when we had a suitcase to manage in the snow. Susukino's main strip is only two blocks away, but the hotel sits far enough from the nightlife thoroughfare. The Standard Single room is small by Western standards, though it works well enough for one or two people. It was warm, the bed was pretty comfortable, and I'd stay again.

We stayed in March 2024, and the check-in and check-out were both easy. The staff were helpful, and our room was warm, comfortable, and well kept. We were also surprised with a free upgrade, which we really appreciated. There was plenty nearby, including a convenience store, an unlimited wagyu and crab restaurant, ramen shops, and a mall. It made for a wonderful stay and is easy to recommend.

We spent eight nights here in a twin room, which was comfortable enough for two. It's on the quieter side of Susukino, though the crowds by the Nikka sign are just three minutes away. Hosuisusukino station is right across from the hotel, with a direct connection to Sapporo Sta on the Toho line. There were plenty of amenities, and you could take what you needed. The staff were attentive, even drying used umbrellas before giving them to other customers. Thanks for taking care of us. I'd definitely come back to Sapporo and stay here again.

Being right by a metro station made the central location very convenient. The staff were so helpful during the snowstorm, and I appreciated the information about train delays. They also made sure we didn't leave any laundry behind. Many thanks for all the help.
