The room overlooked the park, and the bathtub’s onsen-style design made it feel like having a private onsen right there. The Club Lounge food was outstanding, with Sapporo’s signature miso ramen, truffle eggs Benedict, and a beautifully prepared Japanese set among the options. I’ve stayed at several InterContinental hotels around Japan, and this was easily my best Intercontinental experience. The Club Lounge staff, especially Sakaki-san, were so kind that I felt at home. Before I left, a male staff member even offered me tea to take along for a comfortable, safe trip to the airport. Those personal touches are what hospitality means to me, and they’re often missing at hotels in Tokyo or Osaka. I’m eager to return, especially in summer 😊

The facilities were modern and well maintained, and housekeeping did a careful job each day. Every meal was a treat, from breakfast to afternoon tea and evening cocktails, with a great selection and something new to try. I visited in early December, and the hotel’s thoughtfulness was clear as soon as I arrived. Check-in at the Club Lounge went smoothly, and I was given a suite on the 11th floor. I’d mentioned the birthday celebration, and they surprised me with a nicely prepared welcome treat. Assistant Front Office Manager Mr. Taiki Fukuda was warm and attentive throughout. I’m grateful to all the Club Lounge staff as well. I’m sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names, but each person made a sincere, caring impression. I hope I can return soon.

I loved the view from our room window, and the room itself was spacious by Japan standards. The location is good and easy to walk around from. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh baked pastries, Japanese and Western choices, plus several kinds of milk, including Sapporo milk and almond milk. The staff were friendly and attentive. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Japan. You can’t really go wrong with International.

The Club Lounge was peaceful, with a beautiful mountain view. Sitting there with tea and watching the snow fall was pure bliss. The building and interiors are brand new, the junior suite view was phenomenal, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It was my first stay at the Intercontinental Sapporo, and I had a fantastic time. The price may be a drawback for some, but I think the experience is worth it. If you have the budget and want an easy stay in Sapporo with family or a partner, this is a great choice.

The pillows were the best we had at any hotel in Japan, and the staff have been welcoming and helpful. Our room is beautiful, spacious, and very new, with a giant tub that feels like a private onsen and plenty of room for luggage. I took a leap of faith booking such a new hotel when there were no reviews yet. We’re on our third night of a four-night Sapporo stay, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. I’ll definitely be back!
