Getting to Sapporo Station takes a bit of a walk, though it’s manageable if your bags aren’t heavy. I absolutely loved staying here. The room worked well for me, and if you can take care of your own needs without much help from reception, it’s a really nice spot in Sapporo. People who need a lot of assistance at the desk may be disappointed.
I could walk underground to Odori and Susukino, Sapporo’s main shopping and entertainment area. I picked Taketo Stay Premier Sapporo Eki because Sapporo Station has a direct train to New Chitose Airport. There’s no parking in the building, but several overnight lots are just a few metres away. I found it a solid choice for a short Sapporo visit.
The rooms have plenty of space and a kitchen, which is handy for a longer stay. Sapporo Station is about a six-minute walk, though the usual spots like the shopping street are farther away.
The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, and the station was around a 10-minute walk away. My room was very clean and came with more than I expected for the price. Taketo Stay left me speechless after such a great experience. Thanks so much for the wonderful service!
It’s a small room, but there’s a lot packed into it, including a kitchenette and smart projector. I really liked the modern touches and amenities. Having coin-operated washers and dryers in the lobby was especially useful for laundry midway through our trip. If you’re driving, there are three parking spaces, but you need to reserve one ahead of time. We had a pleasant stay.
