There’s a kitchen on the sixth floor where guests can cook, plus a laundry room and a floor with vending machines. The amenities are amazing, the staff are really friendly, and breakfast was delicious. I booked for a couple of days in Sasebo while my family was sick at home. The rooms aren’t modernized, but they’re in decent condition and were perfect for me. It was good value for what you get, and I’d stay again. I left a do not disturb sign on the door. When I got back, there was a bag with fresh towels and a new bottle of water for my room.

Breakfast had a lovely range of Japanese dishes, and the fresh coffee made to order was a nice extra. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and, best of all, quiet. I don’t speak Japanese, but the staff were still very friendly and helpful.

The front clerk was really nice and helpful, even giving me information and bus tickets for the shuttle. The price was more than reasonable, especially compared with other hotels during the holiday period. The hotel is a bit old and the rooms aren’t flashy, so it could suit you if you don’t mind that.

The host at the front desk once called a cab for me when I urgently needed one and couldn’t find one myself. I really appreciated that help. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. My tiny room suited me fine as a solo traveler, especially at $55/night, and I loved the bed. I’ve never slept better. You do have to leave your room key at the front desk when you go out, but that wasn’t a big deal. I’d stay here again!

The location is very good for the price. The rooms are a little old and not especially well maintained, but they are clean. Service is super nice, and the staff are helpful with any requests or questions.
