Business Stay

It’s a pretty low price, so that part is fine. Everything means going up and down stairs 😰, and there’s a high step at the unit bath entrance. You can hear a lot of outside noise from the room 😰. Various amenities are left outside the room.

For this price, the quality and amenities are impressive, and the large parking lot next door can handle even a big car. It’s just off the main street, so outside noise wasn’t much of an issue. The fridge was a good size, too. I checked in late but got a warm welcome, which I appreciated 😘. The only letdown was having to use stairs for everything 💦.

I was on a road bike trip and left my bike in the first-floor parking lot. Heavy rain kept me here for two nights, and having a supermarket nearby was handy. The room felt like a roomy manga cafe, with only plywood walls, so you hear everything. Bathrooms and toilets are shared across the floor. It was disappointing in some ways, but I could see the staff working hard, and I’d personally stay again. Each floor had a hot water kettle, free snacks, instant drinks, and large fridges with ice. The front desk made breakfast. The options were limited, but better than at a certain chain hotel! Sorry I slept in and missed it on my first night. The washing machine is in the first-floor parking lot.

The breakfast is filling, and they even turn on the air conditioning before you get back, which is a real help, lol. For 3,800 yen with breakfast included and a room this clean, it’s more than enough. There’s no elevator, which is a bit of a hassle. I’ll stay again when work brings me to Kawauchi!
