Super Hotel Satsuma Sendai

This felt perfect for a business trip, and I’d book again if I get the chance. The rooms were clean, chargers for different devices were available, and I appreciated the welcome drink. Reception staff were excellent. It’s close to the station, with a Family Mart about a minute away. There’s also a hot spring, though I didn’t have time to try it.

I stay here on business trips, though I rate it a little below the average of other Super Hotels. The public bath is small, but the water feels good and leaves my skin smooth and silky. The air conditioning is too noisy, and I’ve had several unpleasant experiences with it.

I stayed in July 2025. The hotel is a short walk from Kawauchi Station on the Shinkansen, and the friendly service made for a comfortable stay. My room was clean and adequate, though not large. I had dinner at an izakaya, but the area with the bars was a bit of a walk. Breakfast was okay, though I wished there had been more variety. For the price, it seemed reasonable. I’ve stayed at about five Super Hotels, and each has offered good value and a comfortable stay. Thanks, I’ll stay again.
