Fukugi Terrace

We had a comfortable stay in mid-January with our 11-month-old. Even on a chilly night, the two air conditioners kept things fine indoors. Some fixtures were a bit old, but everything was clean and worked well. The location was excellent, about a 10-minute drive from Churaumi Aquarium and Motobu Genki Village. From the nearby tree-lined path, it's also around a 3-minute walk to the seaside, which makes for a nice stroll.

The owner was very nice, and we would definitely come back. Our family of four spent three days and two nights here. We'd heard it was family-friendly, and it worked well with a baby too. The house had the cooking gear we needed, including a rice cooker, microwave, and hot plate, so we could make meals like we do at home. There was plenty of room for all four of us in the bathroom, and we had a great time. Since we rented the whole house, we didn't have to worry about our little kids making noise, and they even provided a bed guard. It's close to the ocean and Churaumi Aquarium, with restaurants and Fukusuke tamagoyaki nearby, so food wasn't a problem.

I chose the cottage for its Okinawan feel, and it's also close to the Fukugi tree-lined tourist spot. I recommend it if you want to experience that atmosphere. For breakfast, I bought food at the well-known Fukusuke tamagoyaki restaurant nearby and ate some po-tama on the outdoor terrace. A staff member came to check me out in person, took a commemorative photo inside the cottage, and even offered to take another on the Fukugi tree path beside it. They were polite when saying goodbye too. The cottage was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

We stayed two nights with our child and wished we could have stayed longer. The place was so comfortable that when we went out, we kept thinking, “I'll go home now...” and treating Fukugi Terrace as home. It really lives up to the idea of luxury as if you were living there. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the baby items we requested were ready: wipes, stroller, bed guard, baby soap, crib, lots of towels, sterilizer case and microwave, and a diaper disposal bin. Lawson is nearby too. BBQ and smoking are allowed in the garden.
