The Mount Blanc was nice, and there was a pretty good cake selection. Lunch was more mixed. I ordered the steak set meal (steak set meal), but the soup had a whole slab of bread soaking in it, and the regular knife made cutting the steak a real struggle. The sauce was a bit salty too. I hadn't asked for a doneness, so it came well done. If you want it cooked differently, you probably need to specify. My friends' Sashimi set meal looked much better. Pretty average overall.

We were there with an infant, and it felt relaxing. They gave us amenities for children, and all the staff were smiling and welcoming to our child. The Japanese-style room felt comforting, and having tea and water provided was helpful. We could walk to Sendai Station with the baby, and there was a pediatric clinic nearby. Since it was cold season, the heating didn't always work well, so warmer pajamas might be useful in winter.

My parents stayed here when they came to visit me in Sendai. The facilities have a Showa-era feel, and the tatami rooms brought on a nostalgic mood. Slippers aren't allowed inside, lol. We ate at the first-floor restaurant. The service was courteous, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious.

It's a handy spot for big get-togethers near Sendai Station, about a 15-minute walk north. The place is old, but there are banquet rooms in several sizes. I came back for a company gathering after quite a while, and we spent the whole day catching up with colleagues. 🍺 There were 50 of us. We booked the ¥6,000 Japanese, Western, and Chinese platter, plus the ¥2,000 all-you-can-drink option. The dishes were Shirasu and Fried Wakame Salad, a four-piece sashimi platter with Coho Salmon, Flounder, Tuna, and Head-on Shrimp, Beef Stew with Red Wine, Garlic Toast, Grilled Japan X Brand Pork, Shrimp Braised in Chili Sauce, Nigirizushi, and Strawberry Daifuku.

The room was cold, the bed was small, and the Wi-Fi was weak. On the plus side, parking is free. The building is old, but the room's unit bath is new and comfortable.
