The staff at the cafe and hostel were wonderfully kind and helpful. I also found the place easily. My trains were delayed by the weather, so I called when I realized I wouldn't make check-in on time, and they gave me extra time. They didn't speak much English when I arrived, but the pamphlet explained the cafe hours, door codes, and useful items sold at reception. The futon was comfortable, and each sleeping space had a lamp and outlet. There were lockers for smaller belongings too. The top-floor shared space beside the balcony felt a bit cramped, though the balcony itself had plenty of room.

The bunk curtains leave a gap of about 1.5-2 inches above the lower bed, so you can see into other people's sleeping spaces without trying very hard. It didn't bother me too much, but seemed worth mentioning. The sleeping area itself was decent. It's a clean, handy hostel near Sendai Station, easy enough to reach even on a first visit. The asaichi market is just around the corner, and the downtown location makes it simple to find somewhere else to eat or drink. The bar downstairs is pretty good too. There's no passenger elevator, though a luggage lift is available. I was surprised they charge to store bags on the last day, since that doesn't seem standard to me.

The cafe and bar were a nice bonus. They serve coffee in the daytime, then food and drinks at night. I'm a big fan of natural wine, and they had some. I didn't try the food, though what I saw looked good. The place is right in central Sendai, and check-in was easy. A lot of the staff spoke English, and they were very nice and accommodating throughout my stay. Everything was clean and pleasant, and good value. I liked staying here.

The bathrooms and shared area were clean and quiet, and I slept comfortably. Lockers were provided for valuables, and the coffee from the ground-floor cafe and bar was good. Orit is easy to find, about a three-minute walk from Sendai Station, with a morning market nearby. The staff were really friendly and made the stay feel special by suggesting places to visit. I'd happily stay here again if I get back to Sendai.

The downstairs cafe was pleasant. I liked the hot dog, but the potato salad was poor. Getting into the bed was awkwardly tight, and the facilities being spread across so many floors wasn't great. It wasn't as good as I'd hoped.
