The Japanese-style room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was very nice. It's easy to get to both the JR station and bus station from here. The staff's English isn't very strong, but simple conversations worked fine.

For a first visit, I found the hotel comfortable and pleasant. It has the atmosphere of a long-established place, and the front desk staff were courteous. The shuttle bus stop for the annual March event in Rifu Town is right outside, which made getting around easy. Breakfast was a mixed experience. Just after 8:00 AM on the first day, it wasn't crowded, but some dishes had already run out. One person was guiding guests, cleaning, and refilling the area, so replenishing food took a little while. I went just before 8:00 AM the next morning. It was a bit busier, but several people were restocking quickly, and I found Sendai specialties I hadn't tried the day before. I was very satisfied, especially with the delicious zunda mochi. I'd definitely stay here again if I attend that event next year. I'd suggest getting to breakfast early.
